Baby Umland - 32 Weeks & Shower

Baby Umland was certainly spoiled last weekend by such great family and friends. My mom; brother's girlfriend, Lindsey; and good friend, Cara, hosted a beautiful Baby Shower at my grandparent's clubhouse in Littleton. It was a perfect setting, and I enjoyed the great company of all the women in my life. We can't thank everyone enough for attending the shower and supplying us all the great gifts, books and other useful baby items. We are blown out of this world with the generosity. So again THANK YOU ALL!!!

Baby Umland's Growth: Baby Umland weighs 3 3/4 pounds (about the size of a large jicama) and is about 16.7 inches long, taking up a lot of space in the uterus. It will gain a third to half of its birth weight during the next 7 weeks as it fattens up for survival outside the womb. Baby Umland now has toenails, fingernails, and real hair (or at least respectable peach fuzz). Its skin is becoming soft and smooth as it plumps up in preparation for birth.
